cPanel β†’ "Email Accounts" β†’ "Create". Enter username, select domain, set strong password. Access via webmail at yourdomain.com/webmail (port 2096) or configure in Outlook/Thunderbird with server yourdomain.com, IMAP port 993 (SSL), SMTP port 465 (SSL).

Use the following server settings for any email client (Outlook, Mac Mail, iPhone, Android, Thunderbird, etc.). Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

Outlook 2016, 2019, 2021, Microsoft 365:

3. Choose IMAP.
4. Fill in:

🍏 Mac Mail (Apple Mail)

macOS Ventura and later:

2. Select Other Mail Account β†’ Continue.
3. Enter: Name, Email Address, Password β†’ Sign In.
4. If automatic setup fails, click Next and enter manually:

2. Enter: Name, Email, Password, Description β†’ Next.
3. Choose IMAP and fill:

Using Gmail app:
1. Open Gmail β†’ Tap profile icon β†’ Add another account β†’ Other (IMAP).
2. Enter full email address β†’ Next β†’ Select Personal (IMAP).
3. Enter password β†’ Next.
4. Incoming server settings: yourdomain.com, Port 993, Security SSL/TLS.
5. Outgoing server settings: yourdomain.com, Port 465 (or 587), Security SSL/TLS, require authentication.
6. Tap Next β†’ done.

πŸ’‘ Troubleshooting tip: If you cannot connect, try using mail.yourdomain.com as the server name instead of yourdomain.com. Also ensure your email password is correct (reset in cPanel if needed).

cPanel β†’ "Forwarders" β†’ "Add Forwarder". Enter the source address and destination address. All emails will be copied to the destination.

Use cPanel's "Spam Filters" (Apache SpamAssassin). To block a specific address, go to "Email Deliverability" β†’ "Manage" β†’ "Add Filter" and create a rule to discard emails from that address.

🌐 Domains & Addon Domains

1. Log into cPanel β†’ "Domains" β†’ "Addon Domains".
2. Enter the new domain name.
3. Document root auto-fills to public_html/yournewdomain.
4. Click "Add Domain".
5. Point DNS to our nameservers: ns1.hostquadrant.com, ns2.hostquadrant.com.
After propagation, upload files to the document root.

cPanel β†’ "Aliases", enter the domain, click "Add Domain". Update DNS. The parked domain shows the same content as your primary domain.

cPanel β†’ "Subdomains". Enter prefix (e.g., "blog"), select domain. Document root is public_html/blog. Click "Create".

⚠️ Common Errors & Fixes

Steps:
1. Rename .htaccess to .htaccess_backup.
2. Check file permissions (folders 755, files 644).
3. View error logs: cPanel β†’ "Metrics" β†’ "Errors".
4. Increase PHP limits via "MultiPHP INI Editor".
5. Disable recent plugins. Contact support if persists.

File not found in expected directory. Verify file location and case sensitivity. For WordPress, reset permalinks (Settings β†’ Permalinks β†’ Save).

Use correct server: yourdomain.com or mail.yourdomain.com. IMAP port 993 (SSL), SMTP port 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS). Ensure authentication is enabled.

cPanel β†’ "Softaculous Apps Installer" β†’ WordPress β†’ "Install". Choose domain, directory, admin credentials. The system creates the database automatically.

Enable LiteSpeed Cache in cPanel. Use a CDN (Cloudflare). Optimize images, reduce plugins, test with GTmetrix. Contact support if resource usage is high.

cPanel β†’ "MultiPHP INI Editor". Select your domain, adjust memory_limit (e.g., 256M) and max_execution_time (e.g., 300). Click "Apply".
